Starting weight = 211.8 lbs.
Ending weight = 212.6 lbs.
I gained eight-tenths of a pound, which broke my string of weeks with a weight loss. Once again, I did an intermittent fast on Thursday and Saturday (that is, I skipped breakfast, going 16+ hours without eating). However, I also went to a party on Saturday evening. This accounts for the grams alcohol in the table, which came in the form of a couple shots of scotch on the rocks. Not my favorite drink, but in terms of carbs better than a couple beers (a.k.a. “bread in a bottle”).
I also had a bite of cheese cake (literally a bite), and a small piece of cake. I estimated my total carbs for that day (which started with a fast) at 62 grams (including 12 grams of fiber). But the actual carb count may have been a little higher.
I should have skipped the desserts. I know it. I knew it at the time, but what can I say?
I’m not perfect.
Still, I gained back less than a pound for the week. I’m OK with the result. I won’t eat anymore cake for a few months.
But I may eat a slice of pie on Thanksgiving.
In fact, I’m planning to.
