Good news! Starting later this week, each episode of the Low Carb Nugget will be three times longer than before.
Even better news: you’ll only need to download or stream one episode a week!

This is Episode 69 of the Low Carb Nugget for Tuesday, October 17, 2017. I’m Jim Anderson.
I’ve decided to make a significant change in the Low Carb Nugget. I’m going to produce longer episodes, but fewer of them. Since I’ll be putting more time and effort into each episode, with any luck, it’ll mean an improved listening experience for you.
I’ve been releasing three episodes per week, on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and they’ve been short form. You might even say micro form, in the range of just 3 to 5 minutes.
I’ve done about all I can, or all I care to, with the micro form podcast, and I suspect there is some reluctance among listeners to subscribe to a podcast that is released multiple times every week.
So, effective right after this announcement, which I’m calling Episode 69, I’m going to produce a single 12 to 15 minute Low Carb Nugget episode each week. That single episode will be released on Saturday evening, around 7:00 pm Eastern time. (That’s New York City time.) Look for the first of the bigger nuggets, Episode 70, on Saturday, October 21, 2017.
Most podcasts seem to have episodes that run 30 to 45 minutes or longer, often much longer, so I think 12 to 15 minutes still qualifies as “nugget-sized.”
I hope this change doesn’t upset my fans too much. I can’t afford to lose either of you.
