Starting weight = 219.2 lbs.
Ending weight = 220.2 lbs.
We were at the lake again over the weekend, so I wasn’t able to weigh myself until today. I was expecting to have gained a couple pounds. I was snacking more than usual — including a couple small bowls of (gasp!) ice cream.
As the table shows, overall, my carb intake was up, and my fat intake down. The averages are still within the expectations for a LCHF diet, but as I’ve noted before, averages can be deceiving.
And there’s no such thing as a diet that works the same for everybody. The practical definitions of “low-carb” and “high-fat” differ from person to person.
I’m happy with just the one-pound gain. Basically, I’m still on the plateau. It could be worse.
Apparently, I can eat 60+ grams of carbohydrate a day and maintain my weight, but not lose weight.

Dude get your head back in the game!
Btw you are eating way too few cals.

Mg — Thanks. I agree about needing to get my head back in the game. That’s assuming that the game is to lose more weight, which is my goal. Regarding your “too few cals” point, I’m not so sure. I really haven’t been going hungry. I have no intention of going hungry, even with an occasional short fast.
